Our Custom Home Building Process

The process of designing and developing a custom home can seem daunting, but our team at Lea Construction has a tested process that ensures success. We’ll work with you every step of the way to make sure the construction process goes as smoothly as possible. Here’s an overview of what to expect:

Consultation – In the initial consultation phase, we’ll work with you to get a better understanding of your needs and wants for the custom home build. We’ll also discuss budget and scheduling constraints so that we can develop a plan that works for you and your family. Generally speaking, costs in the Greater Toronto Area range from anywhere between $350 to $650 per square foot.
Design – Once we have a clear idea of what you’re looking for, our team of experts will develop preliminary design concepts for your review. This will be an iterative process, and we’ll do whatever is needed to ensure that you have beautiful, awe-inspiring design drafts to select from.
Approval – Once you’ve selected your favorite design concept, we’ll begin working on a detailed design plan and construction documentation. This will be the foundation for your custom home build, and is a document we’ll rely on heavily throughout the remainder of the process.
Construction – Once the design is finalized and approved, our team will get to work on building your dream home. We’ll keep you updated on progress throughout the process and will be available to answer any questions you may have. It’s important to us that you have the opportunity to provide feedback throughout the entire renovation process.
Completion – Once construction is complete, your custom home builder give you a final walkthrough of your new home and hand over the keys. Congratulations – you’re now the owner of a beautiful custom Toronto home!
